CTET 2023 Notification

CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test, which is a national level exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for candidates aspiring to become teachers in government schools. The exam is conducted twice a year, usually in July and December.

The CTET exam is divided into two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for candidates who want to become teachers for classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 is for candidates who want to become teachers for classes 6 to 8. Candidates can appear for both papers if they want to become teachers for classes 1 to 8.

The CTET exam consists of multiple-choice questions and is conducted in offline mode. The duration of each paper is two and a half hours. The syllabus of the CTET exam includes topics such as child development and pedagogy, language 1 and 2, mathematics, environmental studies, and social studies/science, depending on the paper the candidate is appearing for.

To be eligible to appear for the CTET exam, candidates must have a minimum qualification of a graduation degree and a B.Ed. degree or a diploma in elementary education. Candidates can apply for the exam online on the official website of CBSE.

The CTET exam is highly competitive, and candidates need to prepare well to score well in the exam. Candidates can refer to previous year question papers, mock tests, and study materials to prepare for the exam. It is also recommended to maintain a regular study schedule and practice time management during the exam.
